Gerson Soares, a Portuguese mercenary from Lagos, Portugal, who lived in Harlow, Essex, UK, came to Ukraine in April 2022 and went to the eastern front in late May, likely to Severodonetsk. He left his family in the UK and his mother in Portugal. His last post was six months ago, and he is now dead.
